Shakespeare on the Lawn

Join Guerrilla Shakespeare on the lawn at Suttle Lodge for their 9th annual production: William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline.

Set in ancient Britain, King Cymbeline banishes his daughter Innogen's husband, who then makes a bet on Innogen's fidelity. Spurned, Innogen, flees her father, becoming a page for the Roman army as it invades Britain.

Written in 1610, Cymbeline is widely considered to be one of the Bard’s Tragicomedies and Guerrilla’s first foray into his “obscure works.”

Grab your nearest and dearest, a soft blanket, some refreshments from the Boathouse, and head out to the big lawn for a night full of entertainment and revelry! Be sure to grab a ticket in advance!
