EVENT FAQS:

What if I don’t drink or I’m the designated driver?

Awesome, thanks for being responsible. Designated Driver/Non-alcoholic tickets are $10 per person and include entry to all the fest fun as well as a shiny new SL stainless steel cup.

Oooh a VIP Bar, tell me more?

The festival’s VIP Cabin is nestled along the shores of the lake and will be serving special reserve beers, soul-warming spirit tastings and a daily extra-fancy VIP happy hour with snacks from the Skip Bar (think canapes- but make em’ Lodge style) and a few other special surprises.

Are kids allowed?

For sure! Bring the kiddos. We’ll have hot cocoa, warm apple cider and live music for them to rock out to. No tickets are required for children.

What about pets?

We’re a pet friendly destination - it’s the outdoors after all. We ask that you keep your dogs on leash and we kindly ask that you be responsible for picking up after your pets.

What are the food options?

In addition to a special Winter Beer Fest menu at the Skip Bar in the Lodge we’ll have some small beer-friendly snacks available in the Rustic Village.

What about the weather?

Yes, it’ll be winter and yes, it will be cozy! We’ll have roaring fires around the rustic village and a heated beer hall tent to keep the vibe high and the feels warm and fuzzy. That being said, dress appropriately (start knitting those mittens today folks!).

What about parking?

Parking is free and will be available around the property. Carpooling is encouraged!

What’s your refund policy?

All tickets are non-refundable.

VOLUNTEER INFO:

We are excited for the fifth annual Suttle Lodge Winter Beer Festival benefitting CASA of Central Oregon and we need YOU to make it SUPER DUPER FUN!

The Suttle Lodge Winter Beer Festival is a three day fest over the weekend of Friday, Feb 23 + Saturday, Feb 24 + Sunday, Feb 25. With over 35 Oregon craft breweries and cideries, food, live music, cozy fires and more, the three day Bavarian-inspired outdoor festival offers a full weekend of fun under the pines of the Deschutes National Forest.

The Lodge’s six historic Rustic Cabins will be transformed into mini-pubs serving seasonal and limited release craft beers from all around Oregon. The fire pits will be aglow with cozy fires, local musicians will have toes tappin’ and the grills will be fired up with warm pretzels and seasonal vittles.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our friends at CASA of Central Oregon, a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the court system. CASA volunteers work within the courts in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to ensure that every child in foster care in Central Oregon can transition into a safe and permanent home

DETAILS:

As a volunteer, there are lots of FUN and important roles at the event. We’ll have folks helping with Check-in and Registration, folks staffing the beer cabins and folks who are general event support that can jump in to support as needed.

All volunteers will receive a snuggly Suttle Lodge beanie (yours to keep and your “uniform” at the event), a commemorative mug, and that feel good feeling that comes from helping out your community and helping us raise money for a worthy cause!

Volunteers that sign up for our first or second shifts are welcome to either come 1 hour prior to their shift or stay 1 hour after their shift to enjoy the event.

For volunteers that sign up for our Superstar Shifts (all day), we’ll make sure you get a 30min break during the day and we’ll give you a “meal ticket” for a tasty item from the Skip Bar. You’ll also receive a ticket to another day of the event to come back and enjoy the event when you’re not working.

We’ll have parking for you onsite and an orientation at the beginning of each shift.

Location:

The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse | 13300 US-20, Sisters, OR 97759

Volunteer Roles:

We’ll have the following roles each day.

Check-in & Registration:
You'll help us scan tickets, get people their mugs and drink tickets and be a friendly welcoming face to the event!

Beer Cabin Crew:
You'll be assigned to one of our rustic cabins where you'll be pouring beer, helping us keep beer stocked, keeping the vibe high and your cabin tidy! New this year! We’re only doing cans in the cabins and we’re renting a proper beer truck for tap beers so no more fiddling with those darn jockey boxes ;)

Rad Roamer: You'll be the "Leatherman" of the event, ready to jump in to help wherever you're needed!

Please note that we ask that volunteers be comfortable standing/walking for 3+ hours and can lift a case of beer. We do have some roles for volunteers with mobility challenges so just let us know what you’re comfortable with and we’ll suggest a role that’s best suited to you!
