Handy things to know for your stay.
First of all, travel looks a little different right now.
Read up on our current safety precautions here.
FRONT DESK HOURS: 9am-7pm daily
If you think you might check in later than 7pm, kindly call us at 541-638-7001 or email us via firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make arrangements for your arrival.
To ensure the practice of social distancing, and to aid in our ability to keep surfaces sanitized, guests may only access the Lodge for check-in and check-out at the front desk window, or to access their Lodge rooms. Please send only one member of your party into the Lodge for these services. We do not take cash as a form of payment for any of our services.
Before you hit the road, we recommend taking a look at Trip Check, for timely updates on the routes to get here.
If you are coming from the Portland or Salem area, we are about 7 miles past the Hoodoo Ski Area and 4 miles before Camp Sherman. If you are coming from the Bend or Sisters area we are about 4 miles past the Camp Sherman turn off.
Curious about the weather? Camp Sherman is the closest weather reporting station. Go here to see the forecast.
Here at The Suttle Lodge we provide complimentary wireless internet in the main Lodge building and seasonally at The Boathouse restaurant. Please be aware that due to our remote location, and sometimes inclement weather, wireless internet and cell service don't always reach all areas of our property. You’ll find the best service if you hang out on The Deck or by The Boathouse.
Oh and you’ll notice that there are no televisions either. That’s on purpose.
EATING & DRINKING
A bar in the lobby that we affectionately call "Skip" - currently offering to-go service for drinks, eats and other good things - take a look at our menu here.

Our Boathouse restaurant and market is currently closed for the season, but re-opens every year when the weather warms.
The Boathouse pauses rentals every winter, and is not currently offering water crafts. You're still welcome to bring your own though!
Rentals will open as consistent weather allows. Those guests booking deluxe or the premium cabin have a canoe provided as part of their rental, but access to paddles and life jackets are available only when rentals opens up for the season.
We are a pet friendly destination - it’s the outdoors, afterall. We ask that you keep your dogs leashed while you stay with us, because most other folks bring their dogs too (and there’s plenty of other critters around). We provide a couple of pet stations where you can find baggies for your dog’s needs, and we kindly ask that you be responsible for picking up any leftovers. Let’s keep our forest pristine!
